Application Security Engineer - AI Trainer

Help train AI systems for cybersecurity by evaluating security content and contributing security-focused technical work.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated cybersecurity materials for real-world accuracy and validity, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques
• Create and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI models
• Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code
• Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI security model reasoning

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience (examples: penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent work), including government or military cyber operations
• Some coding experience required; comfortable navigating and patching a codebase
• English fluency (native or bilingual) with strong writing skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar

Compensation

• Contract hourly pay: USD 50 to 100 per hour
• Higher bonus rates may be available for certain projects
