Description

As a Security Engineer on this team, you will work with software developers to protect customers as these services evolve. A typical day might involve inspecting application code for security gaps, creating a framework that helps developers build faster and more securely, or refining the architectural design of a new service in collaboration with engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and sustain threat models across a diverse set of software projects
- Conduct both manual and automated secure code reviews, focusing on Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Build security automation tools to streamline protections
- Perform adversarial security analysis using modern tooling to augment manual efforts
- Deliver security training and outreach to internal development teams
- Provide security architecture and design guidance
- Independently tackle security challenges that require innovative methods
- Influence team and partner processes, priorities, and choices to improve security outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation (non-internship)
- Ability to solve basic problems by writing code or scripts with some guidance
- Familiarity with security concepts and technologies such as authentication, authorization, single sign-on, and cryptography
