As a Senior embedded Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) within Accenture Security, you will secure AI deployments inside client environments by leading security architecture, governance, and tooling initiatives through agentic coding practices.
Responsibilities
- Guide the security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic AI deployments across multi-client environments, covering LLMs, multi-agent pipelines, retrieval augmented generation, and MLOps, owning the end-to-end security design from initial assessment to hardened deployment.
- Execute practical security engineering with agentic coding tools as the main development environment, constructing AI-powered detectors, automated threat response tooling, security assessment frameworks, and governance automation using Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in daily work.
- Maintain AI specific threat surface management at program scale, including OWASP LLM Top 10 controls, prompt injection mitigations, model extraction prevention, defenses against adversarial inputs, and AI supply chain security across multiple concurrent client engagements.
- Design and govern AI security controls across the tech stack: access management for AI systems, data pipeline security, model serving security, and cross-system risk across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Drive AI governance implementation aligned to EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and model risk management applied to live production contexts.
- Develop security strategies for AI reinvention presented to client CISOs and CTOs, including risk-adjusted investment cases, architecture roadmaps, and governance operating models tied to business results.
- Create and disseminate reusable security patterns, playbooks, and accelerators that scale across engagements and expand the Secure AI practice.
- Facilitate architecture design reviews, threat modeling workshops, and code-with sessions with client engineering and security leadership teams.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of engineering experience in production settings with deep specialization in at least one cybersecurity domain such as application security, security operations and detection engineering, cloud security, identity and access management, offensive security or penetration testing, or governance, risk, and compliance.
- A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in production; theoretical familiarity does not qualify.
- At least 6 years of end-to-end security delivery ownership in a client-embedded or production setting; advisory-only or compliance-only roles do not qualify.
- Six years of cloud security fundamentals across at least one provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including IAM, network security, secrets management, and AI service security configurations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum 12 years of combined work history; if holding an Associate's degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience qualifies).
- Proven ability to communicate security risk in business terms, translating threat exposure into risk-adjusted investment rationale suitable for decision-makers such as CISOs or CFOs.
- Experience leading teams of engineers, including performance management, coaching, and development planning.
